In Spanish we have been learning how to describe ourselves and others, and also how to tell what we/they like to do.
Because of this I have learned how to describe a person, based off of what they like to do, in Spanish.
We created a project that demonstrates how to use this skill in Spanish.
(Goal) The goal of this assignment is to describe yourself by choosing 3 or more fictional characters who resemble your personality. The assignment resembles what we have been doing in class by using spanish to describe someone or ourselves. The purpose of this assignment was to describe yourself in using pictures , and then use Spanish to tell about yourself.
(Description) Me llamo Cory. Yo soy atlético, inteligente y cómico. Me gusta comer, dormir, tocar en la banda y jugar a los deportes. Me gusta comer tocino por la mañana.
Vision is the most important sense to the human body, we need it more than any other sense in our day to day lives, and it is key to our survival. Vision works by converting light signals into images in the brain. This works by light passing through to the cornea, where the light is bent and focused so that it can pass through. Then the light goes through to the retina where photoreceptors convert the information into electrical impulses for the brain to understand. The brain then creates the image for us to see.
Music is a part of everyday lives everywhere you look, but I wanted to find out if it has any real meaning to it. Does music change how we react or in the way we live, Or is it just a fun hobby that gets our feet tapping? I decided to devote my project to finding out. Everyday, I will listen to a different genre of music, whether it be rock, country, or even classical music. Then, after my day is over, I will record how my day went and how I felt about it. After I have gone a full week of this procedure, I can compare the results and see if it really affected my day at all. This project is something that really interests me, music is a big part of my life, and this project seems like something I can enjoy while doing it.
For our experiment we observed and described a small microhabitat. Our group found a grassland like area with vegitaton and a few small organisms. Its components were mostly leafs, small twigs and branches, and a few shrubs.

Today I want to tell you about my hero, Roberto Clemente. maybe most of you don’t know about him, so let me concede you.
Roberto Clemente grew up in the unprosperous country of Puerto Rico, and as a child there he had very little. However Roberto didn’t have “little’ dreams. He had always wanted to join the MLB. At first he was declined because of his race and color. But this didn’t stop him, not at all!
He believed God would get him through his troubles and guide him. And he was right because he later was accepted into the MLB because the board finally recognized his talents.
But Roberto never forgot his friends and family who had helped him along the way. He decided to donate his wealth to the less fortunate. For years he gave money to those in need.
However, on a trip to Nicaragua delivering supplies to the poor his plane crashed, killing everyone on the plane. Roberto Clemente died on December 31st,1972.
Roberto gave so much to those who had so little. One day I hope to be just like him.
